Picasso’s 'The Bull' is a series of eleven lithographs created in 1945. It portrays the bull in differing stages of abstraction starting with a realistic depiction and regressing to a simple line drawing which he regards as the simplest form in which the essence of the bull can still be detected.

Sometimes less is more, making the complex simple by discarding what is unnecessary allows for the important information to become clear.
